will provide a successful candidate a unique opportunity to deploy cutting
edge research into the electronic entertainment field. A successful candidate
will demonstrate a strong working knowledge of computer vision, and have an
inclination towards applied research.
The job entails:
- - Helping refine and execute a vision for the future of smart human interface with natural input;
- - Developing new approaches for fast video-based camera tracking and 3D scene reconstruction;
- - Designing and developing real-time algorithms for video-based augmented reality techniques.
To be considered, you must have the following qualifications:
- - Strong interest in the computer games industry;
- - PhD (or equivalent experience) in computer science with an emphasis on computer vision;
- - Practical experience in computer vision and pattern recognition;
- - Strong theoretical knowledge of multiple view geometry;
- - Demonstrable ability to master and originate new ideas and techniques;

Position: Software Engineer (Machine Learning Scientist)
Position Description: Design, develop and debug computer software
systems, specifically for machine learning (ML) infrastructure in the
electronic gaming industry. Design and analyze algorithms, learning
and reasoning paradigms, systems and engines, behavior models, game
environments and Artificial Intelligence subsystem application
programming interfaces for developers and producers, and apply
state-of-the-art Machine Learning research. Run and analyze tests,
resolve errors and suggest and implement solutions.
REQUIREMENTS: Position requires PhD in Computer Science,
Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field plus 6 months of
experience in job offered or minimum of semester long or equivalent
school project experience.
Education or experience must include: 1) designing, developing,
testing and implementing software utilizing C, C++ and object oriented
programming languages; 2) machine learning research including computer
vision and sensing and articulating systems; 3) ML conceptual tools,
linear and abstract algebra, linear and non-linear optimization using
CPLEX, statistical analysis; 4) algorithm development using MPI; 5)
Matlab and 6) Demonstrated machine learning research skills including
contributing author in 3 or more publications in major machine
learning conferences and journals. Experience may be gained
concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or
experience is acceptable.
Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites
throughout the United States.
